Treasury management has gained considerably in importance within companies over the last 30 years. Tasks that used to be performed only incidentally by accounting or bookkeeping are now handled by specialized treasury departments with a high level of technical expertise and advanced IT. This course aims to close this gap by showing newcomers the connections and interactions between the different disciplines of treasury management in a practical way, regardless of whether it is cash management, risk management, reporting, financing or general digitization efforts, for example. We also show how treasury works in practice. A guest speaker will explain the current challenges.
