's General Terms and Conditions (GTC) for participation in Treasury on Tour

scope of application

  • The following General Terms and Conditions of Participation (hereinafter referred to as "Terms and Conditions of Participation") apply to all events organized by SLG Treasury GmbH, Gertrude-Fröhlich-Sander-Str. 3, 1100 Vienna, Austria (hereinafter referred to as the "Organizer"), the following General Terms and Conditions of Participation (hereinafter referred to as the "Terms and Conditions of Participation") apply in the version valid at the time of conclusion of the contract to entrepreneurs within the meaning of § 14 BGB (German Civil Code), legal entities under public law or special funds under public law (hereinafter referred to as "Participants").
  • The organizer's terms and conditions of participation apply exclusively. Any conflicting, deviating, or supplementary terms and conditions of the participants will be rejected and will not become part of the contract. The participant's terms and conditions will not become part of the contract even if reference is made to them in the order/registration and the organizer does not expressly object to them or provides services.
  • Any changes or additions to the organizer's conditions of participation require written confirmation by the organizer's management.

Registration and confirmation of registration

  • Registrations for all events organized by the organizer can only be made via the organizer's ticket shop at tickets.slg.co.at. The organizer's offers merely represent a non-binding invitation to conclude a contract for participation in the event.
  • Binding registration in the ticket shop only takes place when the corresponding button is clicked and these terms and conditions of participation and the privacy policy are accepted.
  • The organizer will send the participant an automatic electronic confirmation of receipt immediately after registration.
  • The organizer will then check the ticket categorization made by the participant and, if the ticket categorization has been made correctly, will send the participant a confirmation of registration promptly, but no later than five (5) days after receipt of the registration. The contract is only concluded after the organizer has checked the registration and sent a confirmation of registration.
  • The organizer will deliver the tickets to the participant (so-called home tickets, i.e., admission tickets that the customer prints out themselves) electronically by email as a PDF file to the email address provided by the participant during registration. Home tickets are personalized and non-transferable. They are only valid for the respective holder whose first and last name is printed in full on the ticket. The organizer reserves the right to check identification during admission control for the event. Each home ticket will be checked electronically for validity upon admission. Home tickets must be printed on white A4 paper in legible quality using a laser or inkjet printer with a resolution of at least 300 DPI.
  • There is no general right to participate in the event; the organizer reserves the right to admit participants on a case-by-case basis. The organizer is entitled to exclude participants from further participation in special cases (e.g., late payment, disruption of the event, participation under false pretences/deception). In the event of exclusion, there is no entitlement to a refund of the ticket price.
  • Participants are not authorized to alter home tickets. Duplication is punishable by law and will be reported by the organizer. If copies of a home ticket are found, the original ticket will also become invalid and will no longer grant entry, unless the customer is not at fault for the existence of the copies.
  • In the event of overbooking, the applicant will be informed immediately; in this case, no contract will be concluded.

Services and prices

  • The scope of services and venue are specified in the organizer's event description. Once the organizer has confirmed the registration, the participant is entitled to the following services:
  • The organizer reserves the right to make minor changes to the content and schedule of an event. [The organizer may replace announced speakers with others for important organizational reasons; the overall character of the event will remain unchanged.]
  • If participation is subject to a fee and nothing else has been agreed, the participation fees are per participant and event. Unless otherwise stated, the participation fees for a face-to-face event include, in particular:
  • Participation in all program items listed in the event agenda
  • Conference documents (online/offline)

  • Refreshments at the designated catering areas
  • Any travel and accommodation costs are not included in the participation fee; these must be booked by the participant themselves after receiving confirmation of registration, if necessary.

  • Payment for home tickets is made cashless by invoice or credit card. Payment by invoice is due within fourteen (14) days of the invoice date. All advertising activities by the participant that are not expressly approved by the organizer are prohibited.

Cancellation by the participant

  • Cancellation of participation must be made in writing. Cancellation up to two (2) weeks before the start of the event is free of charge; thereafter, 50% of the participation fee will be charged. In case of cancellation on the day of the event or no-show, the entire participation fee will be charged.
  • A replacement person may be sent or a rebooking made up to 2 weeks before the start of the event; the organizer will check the ticket category of the replacement person.

Cancellation by the organizer

  • The organizer is entitled to cancel the event without notice if the minimum number of exhibitors required for this purpose is not reached (up to one month before the start) or due to other important reasons beyond its control (in particular force majeure). Force majeure includes, in particular, official orders that prohibit the event from taking place or make it subject to conditions that make it difficult to hold the event economically (e.g., restrictions on the number of participants).
  • Participants will be informed immediately in writing. Any participation fees already paid will be refunded. Further claims that do not relate to life, limb, or health are excluded, provided that there is no intent or gross negligence.
In the event of a breach of essential obligations, the organizer is entitled to terminate participation without notice.

Liability

  • Participation in the event is at your own risk.
  • No liability for damages resulting from transmission errors, technical malfunctions, maintenance interruptions, accidents, damage, loss, or theft, as well as consequential damages (e.g., lost profits), except in cases of intent/gross negligence or breach of a material contractual obligation.
  • In the event of a merely negligent breach of a material contractual obligation, liability shall be limited to the foreseeable damage typical for this type of contract.
  • This shall not affect claims based on fault, claims for injury to life, limb, or health, the provisions of the Product Liability Act, and cases of fraudulent concealment/warranty/assumption of a procurement risk.
  • Limitations of liability also apply to the organizer's organs, representatives, employees, staff, and vicarious agents.
  • Treasury on Tour is prepared and conducted by qualified speakers; no liability is assumed for the topicality, accuracy, and completeness of the content.
  • No liability for damages resulting from measures taken to maintain safety/order. If restrictions, cancellations, or interruptions occur due to misjudgment, no liability shall be accepted for simple negligence.
  • The organizer has liability insurance for its legal liability. Insurance only covers damage to third parties; no protection for ancillary events not carried out by the organizer.

Participants are obliged to implement and comply with a hygiene concept provided by the organizer; the organizer may adapt this concept before and during the event, if necessary, in order to comply with legal/official requirements, even beyond the minimum requirements, as far as reasonable.
