Basic training course: Financing module

More than 1,300 participants have already completed the Basic Treasury Management (GTM) course and acquired practical know-how for their daily treasury work. The Financing module covers the entire financing process – from financial status, liquidity risks, and creditworthiness to financing instruments and transfer pricing to sustainable finance, export financing, bonds, and stocks.

Liquidity planning: simple, system-supported, future-proof

Ensuring sustainable liquidity is a key objective of financial management. This requires robust liquidity planning that takes the respective business model into account. Efficient digital processes, suitable data sources, and appropriate systems enable the structured implementation of everything from Excel solutions to predictive analytics approaches.

Capital market financing - products, processes and stumbling blocks

In this seminar, financial markets are systematically divided into debt and equity markets. The focus is on products such as bonds, private placements, and capital increases. Particular attention is paid to the equity market and an in-depth analysis of the process and requirements of an initial public offering.

Sustainable Finance

The financial sector has a key role to play in the European Union in achieving climate and environmental goals. Investments in sustainable activities should be specifically promoted and financing for climate-damaging projects avoided in order to effectively support the transition to a sustainable European economy.

Financial strategy, rating and credit agreements

Creditworthiness forms the central basis of any financial strategy. It influences not only terms and conditions, but also access to financing instruments and the structure of contract content. Certain forms of financing are reserved exclusively for companies with good credit ratings, making creditworthiness a crucial control variable.

Export financing in practice

The seminar offers a practical introduction to the basics of export financing. It covers key methods and instruments for financing and securing international business activities. Participants gain a structured overview of typical use cases, relevant market mechanisms, and important decision-making factors in international business.

Syndicated loans

This seminar covers the structure, content, and design options for bilateral bank loans and syndicated financing. The focus is on financial considerations, not legal details. Practical case studies are used to develop optimal contract structures that take into account different corporate situations.

Financial Modeling for the Finance Department

Integrated business planning is essential for sound simulations of different scenarios. In this two-day training course, participants create their own financial model with flexible input factors and automatic consistency checks.
The results provide key figures on liquidity, financing, and ratings.

Working Capital Management & Supply Chain Finance

The seminar teaches the basics of active working capital management throughout the cash conversion cycle. The initial focus is on internal process optimization in the areas of accounts receivable and accounts payable. Building on this, additional optimization potential through the use of supply chain finance solutions is discussed using case studies.

External financing of municipalities and municipal enterprises

The course covers fundamental aspects of external financing for the public sector. It addresses relevant influencing factors and requirements for planning, tendering, negotiating, and documenting financing. In addition, the essential reporting and disclosure obligations for financial managers are explained.
