The year 2025 promised major changes - in (geo)politics, in banking regulation and in the positioning of the banking market. The implementation of Basel IV, the challenges of greater consolidation in the banking sector and ESG positioning required strategic responses from corporates. Nevertheless, we ventured a confident outlook for the then still young year and discussed the question of where future growth opportunities lie and how best to prepare to take advantage of them.
We invited three experts to share their experiences and perspectives with you in order to shed light on these topics from a practical perspective. Dr. Edith Leitner from SLG gave an overview of current market developments in corporate financing and, together with Alexandra Schöneck from Nemetschek, explained how companies can plan and efficiently implement inorganic growth strategies. In his contribution, Bernhard Kopinits from SLG discussed the relevance of factoring/ABS in terms of financial strategy.
