The X1F Group, headquartered in Hamburg, continues to grow and acquires the Austrian finance and treasury management consultancy Schwabe, Ley & Greiner Gesellschaft m.b.H. (SLG). With this acquisition, the technology and management consultancy X1F strengthens and expands its portfolio to 15 specialized subsidiaries.

SLG is regarded as the industry leader in finance and treasury management consulting in the DACH region. SLG's areas of expertise range from strategy and organizational consulting for corporate finance, risk, cash, liquidity and asset management to working capital management. The optimization and digitalization of these topics is one of SLG's main areas of activity. The Vienna-based company, which has been established on the DACH market for 36 years, employs around 60 people and regularly organizes exclusive industry events such as the "Finanzsymposium" in Mannheim and its Austrian counterpart, the "Treasury & Finance Convention". With its proven seminar program, SLG has also been training treasury and finance experts for more than 35 years. Its clients include well-known family-owned companies as well as the majority of DAX, ATX and SMI-listed companies, banks and insurance companies.

Creating synergies with treasury expertise in German-speaking countries

"With the acquisition of SLG, we are expanding our portfolio in Austria with a renowned consulting company in the field of finance and treasury management. Together with our subsidiaries IKOR and fink., this creates an attractive service offering for the Austrian market. This will not only significantly increase awareness of the X1F Group in Austria, but will also offer our customers real added value," explains Thomas Steiner, CEO of X1F. "We are particularly proud of SLG's unique selling point: its industry conferences and training courses create a unique platform to promote dialog within the industry and jointly develop the best solutions. This positions us not only as a thought leader, but also as an industry facilitator, supporting our customers' transformation processes even more intensively and paving the way for future-oriented solutions."

Expanding finance and treasury expertise and interweaving it with technology expertise

"With the merger, we are not only expanding our market lead in finance and treasury management consulting in the DACH region for X1F and its individual companies. Under the umbrella of the group, SLG will also expand its specialist and technological potential and lay the foundation for even more growth. In addition, we will develop more broadly with IT services for the financial sector from the X1F portfolio, among other things," adds Philip Tüttö, Managing Director at SLG. "Our customers and partners are increasingly asking for technology-related services both in the consulting and seminar business and at industry events. By joining the X1F Group, we are perfectly equipped for expansion and the future. This is a real win-win situation for everyone involved," explain Tüttös Co-Managing Directors Georg Ehrhart, Michael Juen and Martin Winkler.
